After attempting portupgrade -f mplayerplug-in-2.66 , I encountered the errors below. This is the second time that pkgconfig either can't find mozilla-something-gtk1.pc although mozilla-something-gtk1-gtk1.pc is in /usr/X11R6/libdata/pkgconfig OR vica versa. Looks like a scripting bug or something, but darned if I know where it is. checking for pkg-config... /usr/local/bin/pkg-config checking for mozilla-plugin-gtk1... gnome-config: not found gnome-config: not found Package mozilla-xpcom-gtk1-gtk1 was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `mozilla-xpcom-gtk1-gtk1.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable Package 'mozilla-xpcom-gtk1-gtk1', required by 'Mozilla Plug-In API', not found configure: error: Unable to find gecko sdk ===> Script "configure" failed unexpectedly. Please report the problem to marcus@FreeBSD.org [maintainer] and attach the "/usr/ports/www/mplayer-plugin/work/mplayerplug-in/config.log" including the output of the failure of your make command. Also, it might be a good idea to provide an overview of all packages installed on your system (e.g. an `ls /var/db/pkg`). *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/www/mplayer-plugin. ** Command failed [exit code 1]: /usr/bin/script -qa /usr/home/root/tmp/portupg ade13538.0 make ** Fix the problem and try again. ** Listing the failed packages (*:skipped / !:failed) ! www/mplayer-plugin (mplayerplug-in-2.66) (configure error) ---> Packages processed: 0 done, 0 ignored, 0 skipped and 1 failed Andrew Lankford
