Hi,

I have recently installed FreeBSD 2.2.8 on my 2nd system, and I have set up everything as I did on
my other system. However, my user account that I created is unable to su to root.

The first thing I checked was to make sure it was in the "wheel" group. It is.

Even stranger, when I had the PPP daemon running (ppp -auto) when I try to su to root, for some reason it tries to use my tun0 device and actually starts dialling out!

I have no explanation for this, and I hope somebody else can help.

Thanks in advance,

MP.
