I'm still having some issues with the sound. Playing an MP3 via XMMS gives a very distorted sound, as if the sections of the songs were ``mixed'' randomly. It sounds closer to random noise than to a song. Any idea what's wrong? I now can access the sound card thanks to the kernel lines: option PCI_ENABLE_IO_MODES device pcm0 at isa? irq 9 drq 1 flags 0x02 and the dmesg and pciconf state respectivly: pcm0@pci0:31:5: class=0x040100 card=0x8100104d chip=0x24858086 rev=0x02 hdr=0x00 vendor = 'Intel Corporation' device = '82801CA/CAM (ICH3-S/ICH3-M) AC'97 Audio Controller' class = multimedia subclass = audio and pcm0: <Intel 82801CA (ICH3)> port 0x18c0-0x18ff,0x1c00-0x1cff irq 9 at device 31.5 on pci0 -- yann@kierun.org -=*=- www.kierun.org PGP: www.kierun.org/pgp/key-kierun PGP: 009D 7287 C4A7 FD4F 1680 06E4 F751 7006 9DE2 6318 IRC: nick kierun, server spod.uk.amiganet.org, channel #sanctus To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
