i have loaded 2.2.8 onto a laptop and a desktop, one with exclusive use of the disk and the other shared with dos, and both of them boot up ok, and come to the screen that asks about kernel configuration (the same one that comes up when i booted the install diskette originally) - when i answer Q, i am sure i don't wanna reconfigure, the rest of the boot process works just fine i think i remember reading about how to make that prompt screen go away, but i can't remember where and i can't seem to find it now - where should i look to see why it continues to happen, and how to prevent it? thanx in advance more later, cal Dr. Christopher Landauer Aerospace Integration Science Center cal@aero.org +1 (310) 336-1361 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
