What files do I >have to change on the FBSD system? TIA! This is a XFree86 question, not specifically a FreeBSD question. But to answer it, you need to be running xdm on your FreeBSD box. If you're particular about security, edit /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xdm/Xaccess to specify who can access what. If you don't want a local session running, edit /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xdm/Xservers and basically hash it all out. Then, in Exceed, you can connect by either specifying XDMCP or directly specifying the host name. I last used Exceed a while ago, so I don't know what the options are. PS.
