Well if you *decide* to use FreeBSD exclusively then you've already
commited to throwing all your DOS/WIN applications away :-)
In any case, there is a DOS emulator called DOSCMD and there is a
WIN3.1 emulator called WINE. Also, FreeBSD is very happy to share a
hard disk with DOS/WIN and yousimply boot into an OS you want to work
in.

FreeBSD can read/write DOS FAT16 partitions.
