Hello,

Having trouble configuring ppp for a new isp.Have put in all nameservers
etc in appropriate files
and after dialing and connecting the proxy server cannot be found.
ifconfig tun0 produces -

tun 0: flags = 8051<UP,POINTTOPOINT,RUNNINGMULTICAST> MTU 1500
inet 203.134.31.99 --> 10.0.0.2 netmask 0xFFFFFF00

it appears that ppp is not replacing 10.0.0.2 with the router
address.With my prevoius ISP
10.0.0.2 was replaced with a router address but this is not happening
with the new ISPand i
dont know why, unless its win95/98 the ISP cannot tell me anything .Any
asssistance is appreciated.
Please send reply to gpenfold@primus.com.au .

TIA

Guy
