Well I had made a port with the necessary modifications to IMAP-uw.
The patch you are looking for can be found on the QMAIL site. They need to
be changed a bit to work well (which is why I did a port to begin with), but
overall it's OK...

I will update the port to match the current version of IMAP-UW and resubmit
it.

However, I think that the CYRUS IMAP server is somewhat nicer than IMAP-UW.
Is anybody looking at updating the port ?
