The choked output queue is the result of ppp being unable to send packets queued to go out. Are there excessive dial failures ? By default, ppp allows 2 minutes before dumping its output queue and starting again. When it does this, it mentions it with the above message. You can change this behaviour with the ``set choked'' command.
