>Description:
I am testing zfs-periodic as a method of doing automatic snapshots in FreeBSD ZFS, and was surprised when a response to

zfs list -t snapshot

returns only the daily and weekly snapshots. The thing that was missing is a line in the /etc/crontab file to call periodic script with hourly argument.

Put that and all works perfectly well.
>How-To-Repeat:
Just install and configure zfs-periodic ports pacakge as needed.
>Fix:
Put a line automaticaly or advise, in pkg-message, to the user to put a line in /etc/crontab to complete the job of hourly snapshots.
