Yep!  The Adaptec 2940 PCI series of cards is supported!
I'm running on a mother board based version of the 2940UW
Ultra Wide adapter.  Now I PERSONALLY like the ultra wide
stuff because I can put my UW HDDs on SCSI ID 8-15 and 
my plain narrow stuff on 0-6.
