Hi,

now the performance is ok. I solved the other problem (see posting "mpd 
- connection problems (set ccp yes mpp-stateless)") and it doesen't seem 
that the low mtu makes anymore problems.
I now tried again "ifconfig ng0 mtu 1500" and the connection still 
stayed alive and performed ok, but I'm not sure if setting the mtu 
afterwards does the right thing on the existing connection.
