I installed 4.5 stable, apache+mod_ssl-1.3.24+2.8.8 and mod_php4-4.1.2. I start apache and php doesn't execute. I get the same results with or without the LoadModule php4_module libexec/apache/libphp4.so and AddModule mod_php4.c. When I try to access a page with <? phpinfo(); ?> I get just the source code with no execution. I get the same when I comment out the LoadModule line :-( I have never seen this before and I have installed apache and mod_php4 many, many times from ports, from source, with and withoug ssl. If someone could give me a clue as to what stupid thing I have done or not done, I would sure appreciate it. I have spent several hours recompiling apache, php4 and testing and am getting nowhere.
