Hi, when trying to write to our tape drive, /dev/nrsa0, which was normally
working fine, I get the following error:

tar: can't write to /dev/nrsa0 : Input/output error
Mode Density Blocksize bpi Compression
Current: 0x24:DDS-2 variable 61000 DCLZ

2: 0x24:DDS-2 variable 61000 DCLZ
3: 0x24:DDS-2 variable 61000 DCLZ

Current Driver State: at rest.

what does this error ususally signify? I was attempting to write to the tape
with a normal tar cvf /dev/nrsa0 dirname command.
