I'll note that PicoBSD was apparently inspired by the single-disk
Xterminal stuff I did.  There's no way I found to put the server
itself on the floppy, I just boot a kernel and MFS from floppy, and
then NFS mount a minimal Xterminal filesystem.

Been using it for many years very happily.
