It is part of GNU findutils, so you could try something like this:

   Get ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/findutils/findutils-4.1.tar.gz
   Unpack
   ./configure; make; make install
   Add a line to a suitable crontab, to run periodically "updatedb"

Requires a working compiler and some basic development tools, of
course.  Also <http://www.sunfreeware.com>; has a bunch of pre-compiled
packages for different versions of Solaris.
