Dear, I am trying my sound card, it is a sigmatel stac 92xx. I loaded the snd_hda, but dmesg results in: pcm0: <Intel 82801H High Definition Audio Controller> mem 0xfe9fc000-0xfe9fffff irq 21 at device 27.0 on pci0 pcm0: [ITHREAD] pcm0: <HDA Codec: Unknown Codec> pcm0: <HDA Driver Revision: 20080420_0052> The Codec is Unknown. the uname -a results: FreeBSD edu.edu.com 7.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 7.1-RELEASE #0: Sun Feb 15 19:58:26 BRT 2009 root@edu.edu.com:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/MYKERNEL i386 Is it possible to use this sound card with this version of FreeBSD, because in hardware http://www.freebsd.org/releases/7.1R/hardware.html says that can or can`t work...
