I am trying to install FreeBSD 3.3RELEASE on a Compaq Proliant 5000 with two processors but the boot floppy
is not recognizing the second processor.

Can Release 3.3 run in SMP mode on this machine? If not can it safely run using just one processor since there is no way to disable the second processor in the BIOS.

Please HELP! Thanks.
