Thanx a lot to everyone who replied with rm dir/~ worked perfectly, I've included what happened when I tried to use the other command posted incase your interested. Nathan the command I typed was mv GameServerAddon gsnew/~ but all fixed now. Thanx for the help %rmdir /root/gsnew/~ rmdir: /root/gsnew/~: Not a directory As you can see in my attempts I've deleted the root prompt. -Rob
