Could you tell us whether atapicam is working with your patches? Many
of us require that for gui cd authorers - I'd consider it essential
before it is merged...

IF not, your 'academic' atacam might be a replacement, although it
means I'd have to be more careful how I allow lusers to access
/dev/passN and /dev/xptN....
