Please try, if a "normal" mixer works (xmmix, wmmixer etc.) and if you
can change trebel and bass values.
You did "sh MAKEDEV snd" in /dev ? You did symlink /dev/mixerX to
/dev/mixer?

xmradio can do that. Although there are problems with recording and the
FreeBSD drivers. Some sound cards can only sample with 8bit/8kHz.
At least on NetBSD, sampling works like expected.
