Hi,

i have used mysql41 with linuxthreads since a few month without problems.
Now linuxthreads from ports does not compile and i wanted to try
without linuxthreads.

It was very very very slow, mysql client on command line hangs,
even on "klhsadkljhas" command.

Alex Dupre gave me the hint to use the following libmap.conf:

# cat /etc/libmap.conf
libpthread.so.1 libc_r.so.5
libpthread.so libc_r.so

After recompiling several other ports like apache, php4 etc. it
works again. But it is not so fast like linuxthreads.

Does anyone has similar problems or hints with latest current and
mysql41-server?

bye,
Andy
