Does this really make sense? I don't think the ports-collection should 
become a home for rotten bits. And QT1 clearly qualifies as rotten. As 
far as I can tell, qt1 was kept only for transition purposes. Keeping it 
although qt has evolved to version 3 now seems pretty ridiculous.
