Terry, watch your language.

And then find me a site running XNS that expects to be running a current
version of FreeBSD, or ideally someone I could peer an XNS system with if
I were to take up maintainership of it?

You have until the code is gone from CVS, which hopefully will be very soon.

PS: I might be interested in getting it out of the attic if you could find me
a good place for XNS-only connectivity, with IP-over-XNS of some sort so
I could still IRC.
