Hi there,

Sorry about the delay. I had to reinstall my laptop after 
an Redmond based OS gave up on me and screwed up it totally.

Anyway, to answer the question ...

kldstat -v | egrep wi shows:
		42 pccard/awi
		64 fwohci/firewire
		67 firewire/fwe
		68 firewire/sbp
		170 pccard/wi
		171 pci/wi

This should match wi.  what does 'kldstat -v | egrep wi' show?
