Hi,
My first post to this group. I'm trying to hookup my DirecPC service to
FreeBSD. Heard a rumor it could be done but don't have any details. Below is
what DirecPC said, pretty lame. Any info or pointers would be greatly
appreciated.

Thank you for contacting DirecPC Technical Support Service with your request
regarding use of BSD. I apologize for the inconvenience due to this issue.
Currently, DirecPC and DirecDuo are designed specifically for MicrosoftTM
WindowsTM Operating Systems. In order to connect to your account the
terminal or laptop must be connected to the DPC dish through the adapter
have the DPC software installed and running a Windows 98 or higher OS.

I hope this information proves useful.

If you have any further questions you can email us back, call 1-800-347-3272
or visit our website at www.direcpc.com. We apologize for any
inconveniences. Thank you for your patronage and continued support.

Sincerely,
Thomas
