I learned of a patched version of amanda (2.2.6.5) that is supposed to properly handle large (>2G) filesystems. I hacked up the existing 2.2.6 port, made the thing compile, packed up the result, and downloaded it to "incoming". I haven't tested it yet because I'm in the middle of a backup running 2.2.6. I left gpalmer's name on the port. H
