Trying to install on 300Mz Pentium II, with ATA/EIDE
I just installed a new Hard drive 20.2G with 7200rpm,
Ultra ATA-66.

Not sure if this should mess up the installation.
I have FreeBSD Version of 2.2.7 of Aug 1998.

When installation is about to begin, The kernel panics

on Doing newsf -b 8192 0f 1024 /mnt/dev/rwd1s1f
I get panic message as follows, immediately

panic: ufs_lock : recursive lock not exptected, pid :1
and the system reboots in few seconds

The FreeBDS Kernel does'nt recognize all of 20.2GB but
it detects only 8GB potion of the hard drive.

NOT SURE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS

PLEASE HELP|?..

Chavan
