No, not nice. It`s a horrible hack and will crash and burn (not to mention fsck up your filesystems) if you have anything but the most conventional setup, because it makes assumptions about various operatings systems that just don`t hold. The Right Way (tm) to do this is assume nothing at all and pretend you weren`t there (POLA). -- Noone else has a .sig like this one.
