Hi, > I'm running FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE-p9 #3 on my machine and I'm having problems > on installing nvidia-driver from ports. > I get the following error: ERROR: Failed to load the NVIDIA module! > KLD nvidia.ko: depends on mem - not available. I had the same problem yesterday. Nvidia-driver port uses /usr/share/mk/bsd.kmod.mk, which needs the kernel source tree. I think you maked nvidia-driver while your source tree was the CURRENT one. Update to tag=RELENG_5_2, make nvidia-driver, and it should load well. Philippe
