	Hi Brian,

	I'm sorry for the big delay. Just for the records: I have just
been testing again the trouble connection and this time around I have
had no problems with PAP authentication only, so I take it that there
had been some problems upstream that have eventually been fixed. What
means the software works just fine, what's good to know. In case you
(understandably ) don't remember what it was about, I was happening to
need both PAP and login at a time to connect to my ISP. Thanks very
much for your help and I apologize again for taking so awfully long to
get back to you and to the list.
