Hello Documentation team.

http://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/sound-setup.html

seems to be a little out of date, since it's focused on the expectation that
a creative labs card has been installed, which doesn't reflect the reality
that a majority of motherboards come with a building audio chipset.

Perhaps a mention of device snd_hda might be worthy of inclusion? Based on:

http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-multimedia/2006-September/004720.
html

Here's my suggested inclusion

High Definition Audio for Intel HDA and compatible audio chipsets

Many current systems can use a driver based on the works of Ariff Abdullah &
Stephane E. Potvin's HDA driver.

To use the driver as a kernel module

# kldload snd_hda
