It wasn't the information that was the problem, it was finding it. The
page you sent doesn't turn up in a search for "gnome debug symbols" or
even "gnome debug symbols freebsd." That was why I suggest an update
to the page at the GNOME site (which does show in a search result)
might be worthwhile.
