Hello everyone! I have a feeling I'm missing something very obvious here, but I sure don't know what it is :\. -- trying to install a Quantum 540 IDE drive, and mount it under /usr2. HD is installed as primary slave, no LBA junk, looks fine in CMOS. Formatted and fdisk'ed it in dos, no problems (made a primary dos partition ~40Mb). Everything looks good, but I get the dreaded 'Incorrect Super Block' error when I try to mount it: / ROOT> mount /dev/wd1a /usr2 /dev/wd1a on /usr2: Incorrect super block. As I said, this is probably simple, but I'm at a total loss. Following is the fdisk and disklabel info. Sorry about the length of this post, but I really thought I'd done everything right. (and looked through the mail archives, FAQ, etc.) Please email me if you can shed some light on this, as I don't subscribe to the mailing list. I'll post a summary if it would be useful for some other newbies out there.
