Tried that:

bash-2.05# pwd
/usr/src/sys/boot/i386/boot2
bash-2.05# dd if=/dev/zero of=boot2.ldr bs=512 count1 2>/dev/null
bash-2.05#

As you can see no problems!

Ok I removed completely /usr/obj/* and /usr/src/* then told cvsup to grab
4.6.2-RELEASE, ran make buildworld and exactly the same problem occurs
