i was wondering what that was.  wish i had tried it! (tried all the rest)

so, that aside, rsa0 is rewinding, nrsa0 is non-rewinding.  how do i turn
compression on and off (last machine i had a tape drive on was a Solaris 
machine, and they use device name to control hardware compression)

looking for.  detailed instructions for the Windows impaired.
