I was attempting to fix a friends FreeBSD 2.1 machine,
and was having problems getting my recovery floppy mounted
It turns out that the clean flag on the file system on the 
floppy was not set, thus the install program would not mount
it.  Perhaps there should be an option in sysinstall
to allow you to fsck the recovery floppy if the mount fails.
