We used to deploy 3Com LanModems (part # 3C886) for small office hookups. They're a 56K modem with a 4-port Ethernet hub, and do NAT, DNS and DHCP, but have no firewalling support. They're perfect if all you want to do is have a bunch of desktops share one Internet connection.
