Yeah, that did it. I man'd all over the place
but didn't think of man csh. But that only works
until the next reboot. So I put it in .cshrc 
and now it is permanent. 

But now I am thinking, what if I have 1,000 accounts.
There must be a way to set this globally.

man csh as well as man tcsh tell how to set environment variables in
your shell:

setenv CLICOLOR does the job.
