Actually, if we are talking about just plugging into the headphone socket on a ATAPI CDROM, you don't need to do anything except plug in the phones and type 'man cdcontrol' to get going. Many people grab a GUI CD player from the ports, e.g. xcdplayer. -- Crist J.
