How's about we make fortune part of the bin dist?
I, for one, consider it a part of the bare minimum for a usable system.
If I don't have fortune, I get so *#&$% ticked off trying to get things to
work, I crash my hard drive through the window.  Gotta spend some time
just typing fortune -o ; fortune -o ; fortune -o ......
