Synopsis: install silently removes target if strip is unexecutable State-Changed-From-To: open-closed State-Changed-By: bde State-Changed-When: Sun Jun 23 05:59:40 PDT 1996 State-Changed-Why: Fixed in rev.1.8 of xinstall.c. Errors in strip are now fatal for install. Not removing the target will have to wait for a more general fix.
