in the handbook, it says if I have a card that is in the list mentioned, I need to add: device pcm and if I have a PnP ISA card I also need: device sbc I have an AWE64 (which IS in the list mentioned on that page) which is ISA PnP. I added those lines to my kernel, and did a cat /dev/sndstat and it says "sound device not configured" Is the handbook correct? I followed it exactly.
