I've installed ntop on two different machines ..... a 4.0 RELEASE where =
it appears to work fine, and a 4.1 RELEASE where it works in interactive =
(command line) mode but when I try starting in web mode (ntop -w) I get=20
"-w mode is disabled for security reasons"

The only peculiarity I saw when installing from ports in both cases was =
something about "lsof missing (whatever that is) so some functions will =
be disabled" The 4.1 system has functional CVS but not the 4.0 one =
(which runs ntop OK)

Neither machine has a ".ntop" file that I can find, and there doesn't =
appear to be any mention in the rather terse man page to cover this =
issue.

Any comments / advice would be greatly appreciated
