The FreeBSD Handbook and FAQ are generated from LinuxDoc (and in the future DocBook) DTD SGML. The formatter tool, sgmlfmt, spits out HTML, PostScript, Latin-1 ASCII, nroff, and LaTeX too if prodded. All these tools are available in the ports tree.
