I have a 4.6.1-rc2 STABLE freebsd installation which I would like to
migrate to the recent 4.6.2-RELEASE version. Unless I'm thinking about
this incorrectly, there should be a somewhat easy way to do this (maybe
by using a release supfile, cvsup'ing, and then doing a "make world"),
but I would like to know for sure from some of the experts. In short:

1) Is this possible?

2) What is the correct method?

3) Is this a particularly painful procedure?

Thanks in advance for any help received.

PS: I have already tried to find what I need in both the handbook and
the faq, but to no real end. I've only found instructions for keeping
up-to-date with a single release track (such as RELEASE, STABLE, or
CURRENT), and nothing for changing tracks.
