Hi there,
I want to make a full release, that includes
all distributions: src, man, doc, ports, etc...
and I have few questions:
Q1: I want to put more than one kernel on the CD
say : GENERIC, MYKERNEL, MINIMAL etc,,
I have to edit the /usr/src/release/Makefile
and put their names, but where exactly ?
KERNELCONFIG: ?
KERNEL?:

Q2: I want to add the ports collection, including
ALL the available /usr/ports/distfiles/*, and
/usr/ports/packages/*

actually 2 questions here, how to do that ?
and is it possible to make the 'make release'
go and fetch any dependency or ports tar.gz
if not available locally, how to do that.

Q3: I want to include XFree86 Distribution,
I already have the X11 3.3.5 source targeez
how to do that ?
and is it possible to include any config files.

Q4: I want to include my current /etc/*
setup files so I dont have to that each time
and start from scratch. how to do that

The general idea, is to have any number of CDs
that will install a Complete FreeBSD installation
and will optionally be used to restore any lost
config files from /etc or Xfree86
and maintain SAME, machine name, dns setup, fstab
and complete set of DOCs, WWWs, and anything else
I want on the CD. IS THAT POSSIBLE.

sounds like a custom FreeBSD CD, but will be
great to know excatly how this great system
really works.
thanks in advance.
