There are several reasons a mouse may not work all under the general =
heading... Not set up correctly.

If you are running moused <the mouse at the text console>
then X must be configured to use /dev/sysmouse instead of /dev/psm0 <I =
think that's right>

If you don't have moused running ensure that your mouse is indeed set to =
/dev/psm0 and that the protocol is set to Auto.

Your message is hardly specific enough for me to give you any real help. =
All you really said is my ps2 mouse that used to work doesn't work and =
I tried everything.

Please be more specific about everything you tried.

Dave

  Subject: Mouse

I have a ps2 mouse and it worked under the last install. Yesterday =
for other reasons I have reinstall free BSD. I did nothing different on =
this install, I have updated to STABLE and now I'm trying to install X =
and KDE. Well my mouse wont work. I have tried everything I can find =
from the handbook and searching the mail lists. I have tried every =
setting and I get nothing. Is there possibly something I'm not seeing. =
It was right there the last time I never even set up anything.=20

  Jk
