Hmmm, probably a NULL pointer some where.  I suggest it will be easier 
for now if you wipe out the config on the old disks with a 'dd if=/dev/zero 
of=/dev/disk'.

Can you please send me the output of gvinum printconfig before wiping the 
disks?
