 Hi Thierry,
 
 This is just an advise not a strict rule (should vs must).  There is
 no such limitation in the kernel.  kvm(3) limits wmesg length by
 WMESGLEN (defined in sys/user.h) plus terminating NULL.
 
 If you don't object I'll close this PR.
